Why Read the Bible?

• The Bible is God's Word. All scripture is inspired by God and useful to our lives. 
• The Bible Helps us Grow. God has revealed himself to us through His Word. When we read the Bible it helps us to know God and understand his ways. When we respond with obedience to what we read, we grow and change into the image of Jesus. 
• The Bible has Shaped our World. Even if you didn't believe the Bible was God's truth, it would still be worth reading simply for the impact it has had on history, literature and the Western world. 
• The Bible has Never Been More Accessible. For thousands of years God’s Words were not easily accessible to his people. Illiteracy and limited copies made reading the Bible difficult. Today, modern technology allows us to access the Bible like never before and to take it with us wherever we go.
